Covert Four Letter Word for Roku · Effective September 30, 2026
In short: we don't collect anything about you. Really.
Covert Four Letter Word for Roku ("the app") is made by Covert Coders LLC ("we", "us"). This page explains, in plain language, how the app treats your information.
Nothing. The app does not collect, send, sell or share any personal or usage information. It has no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking. It doesn't connect to the internet at all: the secret words, the daily word and the sounds are all built into the app.
The words you guess are never sent anywhere. They're only used to score your guess and to save your game on your Roku.
So you can pick up where you left off, the app saves a few things on your Roku device, and only there:
We never receive any of this. You can clear your statistics any time with Reset statistics in the app, and removing the app from your Roku deletes everything it saved.
The app's About and Developer info screens show our website and email address, and Developer info has QR codes you can scan with your phone. Scanning one simply opens our website or a new email on your phone; the app itself doesn't know you did.
Roku, Inc. runs the Roku platform and the Roku Streaming Store. Roku may collect information about how you use your device and apps under Roku's own privacy policy. We don't receive that information. If you type letters with the Roku mobile app or use Roku's Audio Guide, that goes through Roku's own services, not ours.
The app is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no information from anyone, it collects none from children either.
If we ever change this policy, we'll post the new version at this address and update the date at the top. If the app ever starts collecting information, we'll say so here first.
